Auckland Libraries - Lorne Street
Robert Sullivan (Ngāpuhi, Kāi Tahu, Irish) is head of Creative Writing at Manukau Institute of Technology. His poem Kawe Reo/Voices Carry is on the front steps of the Central City Library.
Join Robert Sullivan and friends in an evening of spoken word, poetry, dance, and singing featuring staff and students from the creative writing programmes at Manukau Institute of Technology, The University of Auckland, and AUT as well as wonderful, sassy, electric poets from all over the city. The evening will be MC’d by American slam poetry champion, Ken Arkind. Dancers and singers will also perform from MIT’s Faculty of Creative Arts brought together by leading interdisciplinary artist, Cat Ruka.
